Accountant (JOB #06-2013)

Alexander & Baldwin is seeking individual to prepare journal entries, maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and reports and prepare variance analyses for A&B Properties (Honolulu). Duties include compiling accounting information; preparing income and expense variances, preparing audit schedules, and enforcing internal controls. BA in accounting and solid understanding of GAAP required. JDEdwards and/or Sage/Timberline software experience desirable. Real estate accounting experience and CPA desirable. Strong verbal, written communication, analytical and computer skills essential.

Electrical Operations Manager (JOB #05-2013)

Alexander & Baldwin is seeking candidate to provide operational oversight of utility grade hydroelectric and solar photovoltaic generation facilities on Kauai, Hawaii. Position is responsible for all electrical systems in support of operations, which includes identifying and implementing predictive, preventative and corrective measures while improving productivity and controlling costs. Candidate should have electrical, mechanical and project management skills. High school diploma with an associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical field or four to seven years related verifiable work experience. Must have a State of Hawaii Journeyman Electrician License.
