SENIOR MANAGER – FINANCIAL REPORTING & TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING

Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. is seeking a senior manager, financial reporting & technical accounting. Incumbent will report directly to the Company’s corporate controller and will lead Alexander & Baldwin, Inc.’s financial reporting function. The Financial Reporting function is responsible for the following:
• The Company’s periodic filings with the SEC (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, registration statements, XBRL tagging, etc.);
• The collection, consolidation, and reporting of financial information for Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. and its divisions, subsidiaries and corporate departments;
• Providing timely, accurate and meaningful financial reports to management and the Board of Directors;
• Research and implement complex accounting guidance and disclosures;
• Assists with ensuring highest standards of internal and disclosure controls.

The position requires bachelor’s degree in accounting and 10+ years of accounting experience, Big 4 public accounting experience is preferred, and CPA with SEC reporting experience and a strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and generally accepted accounting principles.

Executive Secretary, Corporate Legal Department

Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. is seeking a corporate secretary. This position provides legal secretarial services and related administrative duties for the Associates General Counsel and Leasing Paralegal. Secretarial duties include answering telephones, receiving visitors, scheduling meetings and conference calls with Microsoft Outlook, supplying requested information, determining proper mail distribution, preparing expense records, maintaining records for legal invoices and budgets, locating and obtaining information from various sources within and outside the Company, and performing other related secretarial activities. Maintains confidential Law Department files. Administrative tasks include HSBA registrations and renewals, work travel arrangements and seminar registrations. Duties supporting the paralegal include revising, finalizing, and distributing legal documents, routing and processing documents for signatures by the appropriate officers of the Company and its subsidiaries and affiliates. Must possess proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat DC (writer) and PowerPoint, Workshare Compare or similar document comparison program, laser printer, color copying/facsimile machine, telephone, familiarity with Box file storage and sharing system and confidential Law Department files, general comfort with learning new software programs. Must have a minimum of two (2) years legal secretary experience.

Marketing Associate

A&B Properties is seeking a Marketing Associate to work with the Marketing Communications Manager to establish property-level marketing and promotional programs that manifest and strengthen the A&B Properties brand. The incumbent will support both the Asset Management and Leasing teams with internal and external facing marketing initiatives. The incumbent will also help develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives, pursue new channels, develop web content, social media, etc., and pursue opportunities to be more visible in marketplace. Duties include coordinating design, production and distribution of marketing materials such as brochures, ads, and other marketing collateral. Promotional activities involve developing and implementing property-level promotional programs such as festivals, events and live music as well as monitoring success of promotional programs. Responsible for property-level web-site development and content management. The successful candidate will possess at least 3 years of experience with marketing, event coordination and promotions. Have knowledge of property level marketing, and able to establish and implement promotional, marketing budgets and variance analysis. Must be skilled in MIS Office, PhotoShop, Visio or Publisher (preferred). Bachelor’s degree preferred.
