Christopher J. Benjamin

Christopher J. Benjamin is president and chief executive officer of Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. Prior to his appointment on January 1, 2016, Benjamin served as A&B’s president and chief operating officer since September 2011. In this role, Benjamin oversaw the Company’s real estate and agribusiness subsidiaries. Before becoming president and COO, Benjamin was A&B’s chief financial officer from February 2004 through September 2011. From March 2009 through March 2011, Benjamin additionally served as general manager of Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Company, overseeing the operations and finances of that business.

Benjamin joined A&B in 2001 as director, corporate development and planning, and was promoted to vice president in 2003.

Prior to joining A&B, Benjamin held positions with General Motors Corporation, Sony Corporation, Booz – Allen & Hamilton and The Queen’s Health Systems.

Benjamin holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School. Benjamin currently serves on the boards of various non-profit organizations and is chair of The Nature Conservancy – Hawaii.

W. Allen Doane

Allen Doane is past chairman and chief executive officer of Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. He retired on December 31, 2009, and remains a director of A&B. He joined A&B in 1991, was named chief executive officer and a director in 1998, and chairman of the board in 2006.

Prior to joining A&B, Doane was chief operating officer of the Shidler Group from 1988 to 1990. Prior to that, he was group vice president of IU International Corporation, a large diversified company headquartered in Philadelphia. He began his business career in Hawaii in 1975 with C. Brewer & Co., Ltd.

Doane is a director of First Hawaiian Bank and Pacific Guardian Life Insurance Company. He also serves on the boards of a number of community organizations.

Doane received a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and holds a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School. He served as an officer in the U.S. Navy for four years.

Robert S. Harrison

Robert S. Harrison is chairman and chief executive officer of First Hawaiian Bank, the state’s largest bank. He was appointed chairman in May 2014. He has held the position of president and chief executive officer since December 2011, and has over 23 years of experience in the banking industry. Prior to assuming his current role, Harrison worked in several branch and business banking positions at First Hawaiian Bank since 1996, most recently serving as its president and chief operating officer.

Harrison currently serves on the boards of Aloha Harvest, Blood Bank of Hawaii, Chaminade University, Hawaii Business Roundtable, Hawaii Community Foundation, Hawaii Medical Service Association, Japan America Society of Hawaii, Maryknoll School and Roman Catholic Diocese of Honolulu.

Harrison has an MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management, and graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a bachelor of science in applied mathematics.

David C. Hulihee is chairman and president of Royal Contracting Co, Ltd., one of Hawaii’s largest civil construction companies, and has been a partner in the development of various commercial projects in the state. He is also the retired CEO of Grace Pacific. Hulihee was appointed Grace Pacific’s president and chief executive officer in 2008, and was its chairman of the board of directors until A&B’s acquisition of Grace on October 1, 2013. Hulihee was responsible for Grace’s strategic plans and programs, overall operations, and long-range planning.

Hulihee serves on the board of directors of First Hawaiian Bank and Honolulu Board of Water Supply, the board of governors of Iolani School and the board of trustees of the Queen’s Health System. Hulihee is a graduate of Iolani School and Syracuse University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Charles G. King

Charles G. King is president and dealer principal of King Auto Center on Kauai. King established King Auto Center in 1995.

King has been a director of Alexander & Baldwin since 1989. He is a member of the State of Hawaii Elections Commission and the Salary Commission for the County of Kauai. He is an active member in the community, volunteering on boards such as the Hawaii Community Foundation, Island School, St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church and Hawaii Preparatory Academy.

Stanley M. Kuriyama

Stanley M. Kuriyama is executive chairman of Alexander & Baldwin, Inc, a position he has held since June 2012. He retired as chief executive officer of A&B as of December 31, 2015. Prior to that, he served as the Company’s president and chief executive officer since January 2010. Under his leadership as president & CEO, Kuriyama spearheaded the successful separation of Alexander & Baldwin’s land and transportation businesses in June 2012.

Kuriyama first joined A&B in 1992 and since then has held various positions within the organization including serving as A&B’s president from October 2008, president and chief executive officer of A&B Land Group from July 2005 until September 2008, and chief executive officer of A&B Properties, Inc., the property development and management subsidiary of A&B, from December 1999 to September 2008. Kuriyama’s leadership has been the principal element in A&B’s highly successful growth in real estate.

Prior to joining A&B, Kuriyama was a partner in the law firm of Cades Schutte Fleming & Wright, specializing in real estate and real estate financing. He is a 1977 graduate of Harvard Law School.

Kuriyama currently serves on the boards of various non-profit organizations.

Douglas M. Pasquale

Douglas M. Pasquale is a director of Ventas, Inc., since the acquisition of Nationwide Health Properties, Inc. (formerly NHP) in July 2011. From 2009 until July 2011, he served as chairman of the board and chief executive officer of NHP, a publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT) that invests in senior housing facilities, long-term care facilities and medical office buildings throughout the United States. Pasquale was appointed chairman in May 2009 and also served as president and chief executive officer since 2004.

Pasquale has been a director of the Alexander & Baldwin board since 2005, and is also a member of the board of trustees of the Newport Harbor Nautical Museum.

Pasquale received a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado.

Michele K. Saito

Michele Saito is president and a director of DTRIC Insurance Company. Prior, Saito was president and a director of Farmers Insurance Hawaii, where she was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Farmers Insurance Hawaii family of companies, including oversight of over 300 employees statewide.  She has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, after joining Farmers in 1984.

Saito also serves on the boards of Hawaii Pacific University, the University of Hawaii Alumni Association, Aloha United Way, Child and Family Services, and numerous other community organizations.

Saito earned a bachelor of business administration in accounting from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and is a certified public accountant (not in public practice) in the State of Hawaii.

Jenai S. Wall is chairman and chief executive officer of Foodland Super Market, Ltd., Hawaii’s largest supermarket chain, which includes over 30 stores across Hawaii under the Foodland, Sack N Save and Foodland Farms brands. She also serves as chief executive officer of the other entities that comprise the Sullivan Family of Companies, including Food Pantry, Ltd., Kalama Beach Corporation, and The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Hawaii. She was appointed chairman and chief executive officer in 1998.

Wall serves as chair of ‘Iolani School’s board of governors, and is a director of First Hawaiian Bank, Servco Pacific, Inc., and the Queen’s Health System. Wall earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Wellesley College and master’s degree in business administration from Columbia University.

Eric K. Yeaman

Eric K. Yeaman is president and chief operating officer of First Hawaiian Bank, the state’s largest bank. He was appointed in June 2015. From 2008-2015, he was chief executive officer of Hawaiian Telcom, the state’s leading communications provider.  Prior to joining Hawaiian Telcom, Yeaman was the senior executive vice president and chief operating officer of Hawaiian Electric Company, Inc. (HECO), and financial vice president and chief financial officer of Hawaiian Electric Industries, HECO’s parent company. From 2000 to 2003, he was the chief operating and financial officer for Kamehameha Schools.

Yeaman serves on the boards of Queen’s Health Systems (currently chairman of the board), Bishop Museum, Hawaii Community Foundation, Hawaii Business Roundtable, The Nature Conservancy of Hawaii, Kamehameha Schools Audit Committee, Aloha Council Boy Scouts of America and the Harold K.L. Castle Foundation. He is also a director of the United States Telecom Association.

Mr. Yeaman earned his bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and is a certified public accountant (not in public practice) in the State of Hawaii.
