Alyson Nakamura

Vice President and Corporate Secretary

Alyson Nakamura is vice president and corporate secretary of Alexander & Baldwin. She oversees the company’s corporate governance functions and serves as corporate secretary for A&B and its subsidiaries. Nakamura joined A&B in 1994 and has taken on positions of increasing responsibility throughout her tenure. She has more than 30 years of experience in corporate governance, securities law, regulatory compliance, shareholder relations, and governance matters. Prior to joining A&B, she was an associate at Cades Schutte, where she focused on real estate and finance.

Nakamura serves as a director of the A&B Sugar Museum and has served on the boards of Manoa Valley Theatre and The Coalition for a Drug-Free Hawai‘i. She holds a law degree from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa.
