James Park is senior vice president of investments and capital markets of Alexander & Baldwin. He joined the company in 2020 and has a key role in advancing A&B’s investment activities, including the acquisition of commercial real estate assets and the disposition of non-core businesses and assets. Park has over 15 years of experience as an investment banker and private equity professional.
Prior to joining A&B, Park was a managing director at TAP Advisors, a boutique investment bank in New York, where he was responsible for sourcing and executing M&A and financing transactions in the digital infrastructure sector. He previously worked at DLJ Merchant Banking Partners, the private equity division of Credit Suisse, and in the M&A group at UBS Investment Bank.
Park holds a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics and bachelor of science degree in economics from Duke University. He also completed the General Course at the London School of Economics. He currently serves on the Hawaii-Guam area board of the American Cancer Society.
