Mark Beers is senior vice president, finance at Alexander & Baldwin, where he leads the company’s finance organization, overseeing financial planning and analysis, accounting, financial reporting, technology, tax and risk management. He partners closely with executive leadership to support strategic decision-making, capital allocation and the advancement of A&B’s long-term business and investment objectives.
Since joining A&B in 2005 as assistant controller at Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Company, Beers has held leadership roles of increasing responsibility across the organization. Throughout his tenure, he has helped guide the company’s financial planning, reporting and operational initiatives through key significant milestones, including A&B’s transformation into Hawaii’s leading commercial real estate company. Prior to A&B, he held financial planning and analysis leadership roles with Ingersoll Rand. He earned an MBA in finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte Belk College of Business and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Toledo.
